With the new year, comes new resolutions.

If you’re looking to revamp your marketing content, it’s going to mean setting aside the time. There’s only one way to write impacting content.

Wake up an hour earlier. Write during your lunch breaks. Stop watching so much television.

People want to know the secret to writing well. It’s like losing weight. You don’t burn calories by thinking about the gym.

You have to keep writing. All the time.

Try this:

Step 1) Write.

Step 2) Write some more.

Step 3) Stay in front of the computer. Keep working no matter how enticing Facebook is.

Step 4) You don’t really want to watch the show that your wife/husband/children/boyfriend/girlfriend are watching.

Step 5) When you feel like scratching your eyeballs out, write.

Step 6) When you feel like there is absolutely nothing left that you could possibly say, write.

Step 7) When you’re completely finished (and only then), edit your work.

Step 8) Publish!

The point is, that you only learn by doing. It’s easy to become distracted. The whole darn world is distracted. In order to produce anything significant, it’s going to take a sacrifice.

It’s going to take a lot of hard work, because there’s a gluttony of average. Google just about anything, and you’re bound to get hundreds or thousands of responses.

This means you have to stand out.

If you’re having doubts, or questioning your work, hire a freelance writer.
