The New Year is always that natural built in time for re-evaluating your business strategy. It’s a time to take a look at what you’re doing and assess whether it’s worked, and how well.

I’ve got a few amazing new opportunities I’m working on with clients, and I’m really excited.

It’s also going to mean a couple things when it comes to my blog.

1) Writing Awesome Posts

I’ve written in the past about how some bloggers have a tendency to overwrite. While staying in front of readers is important, so is having something awesome to say, every time you hit the publish button. With that in mind, I’m going to reduce my blogging frequency in 2013.

I’m not going to fall off the map. In fact, hopefully quite the opposite. I still plan on writing hopefully 2-3 x per week. I’m hoping that the posts that I publish carry a significant impact with them.

2) Still Writing Frequently

Just because I’m not blogging here with the same frequency doesn’t mean I won’t be writing as much. In fact, I’m launching a personal blog called Spiraling Upward. I also plan on writing more guest blogs on a frequent basis.

As we go into the future, guest posting is going to be an increasingly important way to market great content. With that in mind, I plan on doing more of it. I’m compiling a list of copywriting and marketing blogs that I’d like to work with this year to produce more great content and draw in more readers.

3) Publish Outside Voices

I’m also looking to publish more writing from other voices. There’s a lot of awesome, talented people writing about copywriting and marketing issues as they impact small business.
